Sorgun to Antalya Airport Transfer

The measured drive is close to 68 km and takes 64 to 81 minutes. A Sorgun departure, though, does not start on the highway. The resorts here stand back from the sea behind a belt of pine, each with its own internal road, and the first stretch is covered at walking pace: past the block you were staying in, down the drive, out through the barrier.

From the resort road the vehicle joins the main highway at the turn-off a short way east of the Side junction and heads west. The trees give way, the road opens, and what follows is uneventful, which on a travel day is exactly what you want - the Side junction, the long inland run, then Lara and the airport. It is one of the more predictable hours of driving on this coast.

The exception is a narrow one. In mid-July and August, between roughly three and seven in the evening, the access roads carry arriving guests and resort staff changing shift at the same time, and that congestion is felt near the resorts rather than out on the highway. Departures inside that window are timed with the upper end of the range in mind. Outside the peak weeks the journey runs close to the measured time all day.

Sorgun's large resorts are gated, and the gate is where a departure either works smoothly or does not. When you book we record the property by name and confirm the point it wants departing guests collected from - some ask for the main reception canopy, others for the named gate on the perimeter road, and a few use a different gate for departures than for arrivals. That detail travels with the driver, so the car is at the door you have been told to stand at rather than at another one four hundred metres away through the trees.

Smaller hotels, villas and apartments along the resort road are collected at their own front entrance, which is simpler. For any departure before the day staff arrive, we tell the property the evening before so the night desk knows a car is coming and the barrier is manned. If your room is a long walk from the collection point, ask reception for a luggage trolley the night before - that is the one part of the morning we cannot do for you.

On a 68 km run the gap between a meter and a fixed fare is not dramatic, so the argument is rarely about money alone. It is about the gate. Resorts of this size keep track of vehicles entering the grounds, and a driver whose name and pickup time are already with the property passes through in a moment. A taxi hailed on the road outside, or ordered from the room ten minutes earlier, starts that conversation from nothing.

Availability is the second point. This is an all-inclusive corridor: guests do not spend the evening flagging cars down, so there are rarely taxis idling at the gate waiting for work, least of all before dawn or out of season. When one has to be called out to you, the wait is added to your morning and you learn the fare afterwards.

Booked in advance, the fare is a single figure for the vehicle, fixed when you reserve and paid in cash at the end of the journey. If the group grows or the luggage does, tell us before the day and the vehicle changes to match, which is a different thing from arriving at the barrier with more bags than the boot will take.

The same service runs in the opposite direction, at the same fixed fare and with the same gate detail applied to the drop-off rather than the pickup.
