“We booked a private transfer with MovXtra before arriving in Turkey, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Communication via both email and WhatsApp was quick, friendly, and professional. We were a group of 14 people, and during our holiday we used their services for several transfers. The vehicle was always clean and comfortable, the driver was friendly and helpful, and every journey went perfectly. 🚐👌 There is honestly nothing we could fault. We will definitely use MovXtra again on our future trips to Antalya. Highly recommended if you are looking for a reliable, professional, and reasonably priced private transfer service in Antalya. 🙏🇹🇷”

The vehicle is chosen for the group and the luggage you declare when booking, and the fare covers the vehicle rather than the seats in it. Tell us the number of cases as well as the number of passengers - four adults with four large suitcases and four adults with hand luggage are not the same job.

What Matters on a Kumkoy Departure
The clock starts at the gate
On a run this short, the resort side of the journey is a real share of the total. The barrier, the loading, the lane out to the main road: we count those minutes into the pickup time instead of quoting you the driving time and hoping the rest fits.
We ask for the property, not the postcode
Kumkoy addresses are registered under the Side district, so the paperwork often says Side while the hotel stands several kilometres away. The booking is built around the hotel name and the entrance it uses, which is why the car turns into the right gate rather than the right general area.
One figure, agreed before the day
The fare is set when you book and it is what the driver takes at the end. No meter, no seasonal adjustment, no recalculation because the access lane was busy or because the departure fell on a Saturday. You pay in cash on the day; nothing is charged in advance.
Pre-dawn starts are ordinary work
We run departures at every hour, including the ones where the hotel lobby is dark and the desk is covered by the night porter. Early pickups are booked the same way as any other and cost the same as any other.
Child seats and awkward bags
Child seats are arranged on request; give us the ages when you book. Golf bags, pushchairs, a bicycle box: declare them and the right vehicle is allocated, rather than discovered to be too small while the boot is open on the lane.
Leaving Kumkoy: the Short Run West
This is one of the shorter journeys on the coast east of Antalya - roughly 25 km, and 26 to 36 minutes once the vehicle is out on the main road. Nothing about the driving is complicated. What surprises people is the first part, which happens before any of that: the perimeter lane, the barrier, and getting the cases into the boot.
From the beachfront the car takes the shared access lane inland and joins the main highway heading west. There is no town centre to cross and no bypass to sit in on the way out; the heavier resort concentration lies further east and a Kumkoy departure never touches it. That is why the timing here holds together in August when the same hour would be unkind to a journey starting further along the coast.
Mornings are the quiet half of the day. Before seven the lane belongs to delivery vans and the run to the terminal sits at the bottom of the range. July and August afternoons are the other case: hotel shuttles and service traffic use the same access road at changeover, and the minutes you lose are lost within a kilometre of your hotel rather than out on the highway. Afternoon pickups are timed with that in mind.
You give us the flight time and the pickup is planned around it. We do not hand you a rule of thumb to work backwards from - the schedule is built from your departure time, where your hotel sits on the lane, and how that lane behaves at that hour.
Where the Driver Waits in Kumkoy
The hotels here sit behind one shared perimeter lane, with several entrances opening onto it inside a few hundred metres. Going out, that is a naming problem more than a navigation problem. The driver is given the property name and the entrance the hotel uses for cars, so the vehicle stops where you are standing rather than at the neighbouring gate with a similar sign. The standard pickup is a straightforward stop at the entrance, with the driver loading the bags there.
Early departures work the same way with one difference worth knowing. At that hour the desk is staffed by the night porter and the barrier may be down. We let reception know the pickup time the evening before, so the gate is open and someone is expecting a car. If you are staying in an apartment on the narrow back streets rather than a beachfront hotel, we agree a meeting point on the lane itself when you book - a minibus has nowhere to turn in some of those streets, and five in the morning is the wrong time to discover it.
Taxi or Booked Car, Leaving Kumkoy
Finding a taxi to go home is a different problem from finding one at the terminal. There, cars sit in a rank and wait for passengers. In Kumkoy there is a reception desk and a phone call, and the car has to drive out to you before it can take you anywhere. In the middle of the season that call is usually answered quickly. In April, or at half past four in the morning, it often is not.
The money behaves differently too. A metered run west is priced on the day and moves with the hour and the traffic ahead of it. A booked transfer is one figure for the vehicle, agreed when you reserve, and it does not move because the lane was blocked by a coach or because your flight happens to be at six. You hand it to the driver in cash at the end and there is nothing to settle beforehand.
There is also the question of who is expected. A car booked in advance leaves with your hotel name and your pickup time already on it. A taxi called at short notice arrives wherever the desk or the app sends it, and on a lane with this many entrances close together, that is not reliably yours.
Nearby routes
Kumkoy addresses are registered under the Side district, so if you booked by postcode the paperwork may say Side while the hotel stands on its own part of the coast. Either way the pickup is handled as a Kumkoy job. For the journey in the other direction, see Antalya Airport to Kumkoy. Departures from the neighbouring resort zones have pages of their own: Side, Sorgun and Titreyengöl.
Return transfer
If this is the outbound half of a holiday rather than a one-way move, the arrival leg is booked on the same terms and in the same conversation: same class of vehicle, same fixed fare, nothing paid up front. The airport-to-resort side of the journey is described on Antalya Airport to Kumkoy. Booking both directions at once also means the departure is already in the system while you are still on holiday, so the only thing left to do is confirm the pickup time.

Travellers who booked this service
“I used Movxtra for both my airport transfers in Antalya — from the airport to my hotel and then back to the airport. I was very satisfied with the service from start to finish. The website is very easy to use, with clear and fixed prices, and there is no need to pay in advance. You simply pay the driver after arriving at your destination, which I found very convenient. Their WhatsApp communication is also excellent — they respond extremely quickly. After making the booking, I recommend contacting them directly on WhatsApp, as it makes communication even faster and easier. Both drivers were punctual, professional, and friendly. The vehicles were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had good air conditioning. I would definitely recommend Movxtra, especially if you want a reliable airport transfer without having to pay upfront. The fixed price and payment upon arrival make the whole process simple and stress-free. Very good service and definitely a company I would use again!”
“Everything was great, thank you! The transfer went very smoothly, and the drivers were punctual, professional, and very kind. We really appreciated the service.”

Kumkoy Departure Questions
Tap a question to view details.
How long does the drive from Kumkoy to Antalya Airport take?
About 25 km of road, and 26 to 36 minutes of driving. The lower figure is a quiet morning; the upper one covers a busy summer afternoon on the access road. Time spent at the hotel loading luggage is counted separately when we set your pickup, so the range above is the drive itself.
Where exactly will the driver be waiting?
At your hotel entrance - the one the property uses for cars, which is confirmed when you book. If you are in an apartment on one of the narrow back streets, we agree a specific meeting point on the lane instead, because those streets have no room to turn a larger vehicle.
How early will you collect me?
Tell us your flight time when you book and we plan the pickup around it. We take into account the hour of day, where your hotel sits on the resort lane, and how that road usually runs at that time. You do not need to calculate anything yourself - the confirmed pickup time comes back to you with the booking.
Can you pick up before dawn?
Yes. Very early departures are routine here and carry no surcharge. We contact reception the evening before so the barrier is open and the night porter knows a car is coming for you.
My hotel address says Side. Is that a problem?
No. Kumkoy addresses fall under the Side district on paper while the hotel itself is on the Kumkoy beachfront. The booking is keyed to the hotel name and its entrance, not to the postal address, so the driver goes to the right place.
Do you have child seats?
Yes, on request. Tell us the ages of the children when you book and the appropriate seat is arranged for the departure.
How and when do I pay?
In cash, to the driver, on the day you travel. No card details are taken at booking and no deposit is required. The fare is fixed at the moment you book and covers the vehicle rather than each passenger.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the pickup time. Send us a message and we will confirm it back to you. Full terms are shown when you book.
