“We booked a private transfer with MovXtra before arriving in Turkey, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Communication via both email and WhatsApp was quick, friendly, and professional. We were a group of 14 people, and during our holiday we used their services for several transfers. The vehicle was always clean and comfortable, the driver was friendly and helpful, and every journey went perfectly. 🚐👌 There is honestly nothing we could fault. We will definitely use MovXtra again on our future trips to Antalya. Highly recommended if you are looking for a reliable, professional, and reasonably priced private transfer service in Antalya. 🙏🇹🇷”

Choosing the Vehicle for the Trip Out
One fare covers the vehicle, not the head count, and the vehicle is allocated from what you tell us at booking: how many are travelling and how much you are carrying. Say so if the load has grown over the fortnight - most groups leave heavier than they arrived.

Why the Departure Side of Side Is Worth Planning
A perimeter point agreed by name
Cars cannot reach most Old Town addresses. Rather than leaving you to find a waiting vehicle among the lanes, we agree a specific, named point on the perimeter when you book, and the driver stands there. You are told which one before the day, not phoned about it while you are dragging a case over the stones.
Hotel entrance pickup on the strip
If you are staying on the resort side rather than inside the old quarter, the car comes to the entrance and the bags are loaded there. Nothing about the peninsula's restrictions applies to you, and the journey starts the moment the boot closes.
The fare does not move
What is quoted at booking is what the driver is handed in cash at the end. There is no meter to watch on the way west, no supplement for an early hour, and nothing taken from a card in advance.
Luggage that will not fit a standard car
Golf clubs, dive gear, a fortnight of family cases: declare the load and a vehicle with room for it is assigned. It is the difference between a departure and a negotiation on the pavement.
Any hour of the year
We work through the night and through the winter. A pickup at four in the morning in February is booked exactly like one at noon in August and costs what it was quoted at.
Out of Side: Two Pickups, One Road West
Side does not have one departure, it has two. A guest leaving a hotel on the resort strip is collected at the entrance and is out on the main road inside a few minutes. A guest leaving a guesthouse inside the old quarter is not: traffic there is restricted, the lanes are narrow and busy on foot, and the car waits at the closest point it is allowed to reach while you walk out with your bags. Both are routine departures. They are not the same twenty minutes, and the pickup time reflects which one you are.
Once you are moving, the drive is roughly 66 km and takes 64 to 81 minutes. The perimeter road carries you off the peninsula to the junction with the main highway near Manavgat, and from there it is a steady westbound run: the open inland stretch first, then Lara, then the airport approach. There are no turns to get wrong and no alternative worth taking.
The junction area is where the day shows itself. Through July and August, roughly between three and seven in the evening, that stretch carries changeover traffic moving in both directions and the journey takes the upper end of the range. Before eight in the morning it takes the lower end, and the first twenty kilometres pass without a stop. Spring and autumn departures rarely see either extreme.
None of this is something you have to calculate. Tell us the flight time when you book; the pickup is set from that, with your zone - perimeter or hotel entrance - already built into the schedule that comes back to you.
Pickup Inside the Peninsula, and Outside It
For an Old Town stay, the car cannot come to your door and no operator can change that. What we can do is remove the guesswork: when you book, we name the exact spot on the perimeter where the driver will stand, so you know before you pack how far you are walking and over what. If anyone in the party has trouble with steps or with wheeling a case over stone, say so and we will agree the closest point a vehicle is permitted to reach. Midday departures are the hardest, because by then the lanes are full of people; a first-light pickup is far easier and the walk takes half the time.
On the resort strip the pattern is plain: the vehicle stops at the hotel entrance, the driver loads, and you leave. For departures before the day shift arrives we tell reception the evening before so the night desk expects the car and the front barrier is open. Villas and apartment blocks around the edge of town are collected at their own door, with the street and the building confirmed at booking rather than looked up on the morning.
Calling a Taxi from Side, or Booking the Car
In the old quarter the comparison is not really about price. A taxi called to the peninsula faces the same access restrictions your booked car does, but you have no say in where it stops - and you find out where that is while you are already outside with the luggage. A pre-agreed perimeter point is the whole advantage, and it is worth more at eight in the morning than any fare difference.
On the money, a metered run to the airport is priced on the day: the hour you leave, the traffic at the Manavgat junction, and how the meter treats the stretch west all feed into it. A booked transfer is a single figure for the vehicle, settled at booking and handed over in cash at the end. Nothing is collected in advance and nothing is recalculated on the way.
Season matters here more than in most places. Between November and April the peninsula is quiet, a good number of hotels are shut, and the cars working the rank thin out with them. A departure booked in advance is unaffected by that; a taxi ordered from a half-empty town at six in the morning is a different proposition.
Nearby routes
The Side pickup zone is wider than the peninsula. Guests in Sorgun, Titreyengöl, Kumkoy, Colakli and Evrenseki all leave on the same fixed-price basis, though the access roads and the gates differ from one to the next. Departure pages for the near neighbours: Sorgun, Titreyengöl and Kumkoy. Travelling in rather than out? That journey is described on Antalya Airport to Side.
Return transfer
Most guests who book this leg book the inbound one as well, and it costs less thought to do both at once: the same vehicle class, the same fixed fare, and no card charged either time. The arrival side of the journey - which zone you are dropped in and how the Old Town restriction plays out on the way in - is covered on Antalya Airport to Side. If you have already travelled in with someone else, the departure stands perfectly well on its own.

Travellers who booked this service
“I used Movxtra for both my airport transfers in Antalya — from the airport to my hotel and then back to the airport. I was very satisfied with the service from start to finish. The website is very easy to use, with clear and fixed prices, and there is no need to pay in advance. You simply pay the driver after arriving at your destination, which I found very convenient. Their WhatsApp communication is also excellent — they respond extremely quickly. After making the booking, I recommend contacting them directly on WhatsApp, as it makes communication even faster and easier. Both drivers were punctual, professional, and friendly. The vehicles were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had good air conditioning. I would definitely recommend Movxtra, especially if you want a reliable airport transfer without having to pay upfront. The fixed price and payment upon arrival make the whole process simple and stress-free. Very good service and definitely a company I would use again!”
“Everything was great, thank you! The transfer went very smoothly, and the drivers were punctual, professional, and very kind. We really appreciated the service.”

Leaving Side: Common Questions
Tap a question to view details.
How long is the drive from Side to Antalya Airport?
Roughly 66 km, and 64 to 81 minutes of driving. Early mornings sit at the lower end; summer evenings around the Manavgat junction sit at the upper end. The time it takes you to reach the vehicle in the Old Town is counted separately when your pickup is scheduled.
Can the driver come to my Old Town guesthouse door?
In most of the old quarter, no - vehicle access is restricted and the lanes are too narrow. The driver waits at the closest permitted point on the perimeter, and that point is named in your confirmation so you know exactly where to walk to and roughly how far it is.
What about hotels on the resort strip?
Those are straightforward. The car pulls up at the hotel entrance, the driver loads the bags, and you go. None of the peninsula's access rules apply on that side.
How far in advance of my flight will you collect me?
Give us the flight time and the pickup is planned around it. Your zone, the hour, and the usual state of the road at that hour are all part of the calculation, and the confirmed pickup time is sent back to you. There is nothing for you to work out.
We have heavy luggage and a long walk to the car. Can you help?
Tell us at booking. The driver meets you at the agreed perimeter point and takes the bags from there, and where the walk is genuinely long we look at the nearest point a vehicle is allowed to reach for your address. It is easier to solve at booking than on the morning.
Are child seats available?
Yes, on request. Give us the ages when you book and the right seat travels with the vehicle.
How is the transfer paid for?
Cash to the driver on the day. No prepayment, no card details at booking, and the fare is the one you were quoted - it covers the vehicle, not each seat.
Can I cancel or move the booking?
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup. If the flight time changes, message us and we will reschedule the pickup around the new one. Full terms appear at the time of booking.
