Fleet

The right vehicle for a long run

On a two-hour drive the difference between a full car and a comfortable one is worth thinking about. Give us the head count and the number of cases and we allocate accordingly; golf bags, bicycle boxes and buggies should be named at booking, because they decide the vehicle rather than fit into whatever turns up. The quoted price belongs to the vehicle, not the seat.

Reasons to fix the Payallar leg in advance

112 km out of Payallar, planned as one job

The village sits at the Alanya end of this stretch of coast, and the whole of that run lies between you and the terminal: 1 hour 40 with the road clear, longer once the season is on. That is built into the pickup time from the start rather than discovered on the road.

Small hotels found by name and street

Much of the accommodation here is family-run, unsigned after dark and clustered on turn-offs that look alike. We take the name as it appears on your reservation together with the street, so nobody is circling the village at first light.

Any hour, including the unpopular ones

We are on the road around the clock. A departure at four in the morning from a quiet village lane is normal work and carries no extra charge for the hour.

One fare, fixed when you book

On a run of this length the meter is the part of a taxi fare nobody can predict. The price here is agreed in advance for the vehicle and does not move with the traffic or the calendar.

Nothing paid until the terminal

No deposit, no card. The driver takes cash at the end of the journey and the booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the pickup.

112 km, and the first ten are the busiest

Payallar sits on the western approach to Alanya, and the run to the terminal measures roughly 112 km, which gives the drive an unusual shape. It begins in traffic, ends in traffic, and has the better part of an hour of open road in between.

Leaving the village you join a road already carrying Alanya's westbound traffic, and on a summer morning that is the slowest section of the whole journey even though it comes first. Past Turkler and Avsallar the volume thins out. From Okurcalar as far as the Manavgat crossing the coast road does what it was built to do, and it stays clear until the Aksu junction, where the airport approach picks up city traffic again.

Plan on 1 hour 40 to two hours. The shorter end belongs to a night or pre-dawn departure with an empty road ahead. The longer end belongs to July and August, and above all to the weekend changeover days, when the whole coast is travelling in the same direction as you are.

We set the pickup time against the flight time you give us. For Payallar that calculation has to carry both of those congested ends and not just the open middle, which is the main reason the departure here is worth arranging rather than improvising.

Finding the right door in the village

The hotels here are mostly small, and the beach-side ones are reached by short turn-offs that look identical from the coast road in the dark. Several share the first word of a name with a building two streets away. So we ask for the property exactly as written on your reservation and the street it stands on, and for an apartment booking the block and the floor as well, because there is no lit forecourt to check against at five in the morning.

The collection itself is at the door. The driver parks on the turn-off rather than out on the coast road, telephones the number on the booking, and helps the cases out; in the village core, where the lanes are narrow and everyone is asleep, that is done without a horn. If you are going before the desk opens, say so at booking — properties of this size run a single night porter, and it works far better when he has been told the day before.

A village, at five in the morning

Payallar keeps no rank of waiting taxis, and for most of the day it has no need of one. It needs one at precisely the hour flights leave, which is the hour it is least likely to have a car sitting idle. Out of season the hotel calls one in from further along the coast, and you find out how long that takes while standing in the lane with the room key already handed back.

Distance sharpens the second argument. A meter left running across 112 km of coast road climbs for the better part of two hours, and there is nothing to check it against while it does. Booked ahead it is a single figure for the vehicle, settled weeks earlier, unaffected by the traffic on the day or by how many of you are travelling.

Luggage is the third. People tend to leave this coast carrying more than they arrived with, and golf clubs are common on the run out of Payallar. Declaring the load when you book puts a van on the job instead of a standard car, and that decision gets made in an office rather than in a dark lane with a boot lid open.

Nearby routes

Arriving instead of leaving? The inbound journey is described at Antalya Airport to Payallar. Neighbouring departure points on the same coast road, all on the same fixed-price basis: Avsallar, Incekum and Okurcalar.

Return transfer

Guests who are still on their way to Payallar rather than leaving it can put both journeys on one booking; the inbound leg has its own page at Antalya Airport to Payallar. Arranging the two together means the village address only gets checked once, and the departure stays on file from the moment the pair is confirmed until the morning of the flight.

“We booked a private transfer with MovXtra before arriving in Turkey, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Communication via both email and WhatsApp was quick, friendly, and professional. We were a group of 14 people, and during our holiday we used their services for several transfers. The vehicle was always clean and comfortable, the driver was friendly and helpful, and every journey went perfectly. 🚐👌 There is honestly nothing we could fault. We will definitely use MovXtra again on our future trips to Antalya. Highly recommended if you are looking for a reliable, professional, and reasonably priced private transfer service in Antalya. 🙏🇹🇷”

“I used Movxtra for both my airport transfers in Antalya — from the airport to my hotel and then back to the airport. I was very satisfied with the service from start to finish. The website is very easy to use, with clear and fixed prices, and there is no need to pay in advance. You simply pay the driver after arriving at your destination, which I found very convenient. Their WhatsApp communication is also excellent — they respond extremely quickly. After making the booking, I recommend contacting them directly on WhatsApp, as it makes communication even faster and easier. Both drivers were punctual, professional, and friendly. The vehicles were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had good air conditioning. I would definitely recommend Movxtra, especially if you want a reliable airport transfer without having to pay upfront. The fixed price and payment upon arrival make the whole process simple and stress-free. Very good service and definitely a company I would use again!”

Questions about leaving Payallar

Tap a question to view details.

Our hotel is small and hard to find. Will the driver know it?

He will if we have the name as it appears on your reservation plus the street. Several places in the village have similar names, so that second detail is what keeps the pickup on time.

How is the pickup time decided?

From your flight time. Send it with the booking and we plan the collection around it, then confirm the time back to you before the day.

Do you cover very early departures?

Yes, at any hour of the night. The rate is the same as for a daytime run and the driver comes to the door rather than asking you to walk to the main road.

How long does the drive take?

About 112 km and normally 1 hour 40 to two hours. The clear middle stretch between Okurcalar and the Manavgat crossing is what holds it near the lower figure; high-summer weekends sit at the top of the range.

Can you carry golf bags or a bicycle box?

Yes, provided they are declared when you book so a van goes out instead of a car. The same applies to a large number of cases.

When do I pay, and how?

In cash to the driver once you reach the terminal. Nothing is taken at the time of booking and no card is required.

Can I cancel if the plan changes?

Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before the pickup, by message.

Is a child seat available?

Yes, on request at booking, at no extra charge. It is fitted before the vehicle sets off for the village.
