Why guests book the Incekum leg in advance

Your access lane is on the job sheet

Hotels here sit on both sides of the pine belt and several are reached by a single-width lane with no turning space. The waiting point is agreed before the day, so the driver is not reversing a loaded vehicle out between two walls.

One figure, quoted for the vehicle

The rate is set at booking and stays there. It covers the car or van rather than the heads inside it, and a slow coast road on a hot afternoon does not add anything to it.

We work the dark hours

The strip has almost no lighting once the hotels shut their outside lamps. Night and pre-dawn collections are part of normal service and are charged at the same fixed rate as any other departure.

Booked without a card

Nothing is taken when you reserve. The driver is paid in cash at the terminal, and a booking can be cancelled at no cost up to 24 hours before the agreed pickup.

Child seats fitted before we set out

Ask for one at the time of booking and it is in the vehicle when it leaves for you. The kerb outside a dark hotel at four in the morning is no place to be improvising.

Out of the pines and west on the coast road

Incekum to Antalya Airport is about 99 km, and almost all of it belongs to a single road. The first few hundred metres matter more than that number suggests: the hotel lanes here thread back through the pine belt behind the beach, they are narrow, and most meet the coast road at a right angle with nowhere to pause. Once the vehicle is up on the highway and pointed west, the rest is uncomplicated.

Westbound the road passes the Okurcalar resort strip, crosses the Manavgat river and clears the Side junction. Then it opens out for the long, level section across the Belek plain towards Serik and Aksu. That middle third is where a departure keeps its time, because there is nothing on it to stop for and nothing beside it to slow the traffic down.

Allow 1 hour 30 to 1 hour 50. The lower figure belongs to the night and the early morning, when the only slow part of the trip is the lane out of the hotel. The upper figure belongs to July and August afternoons, when everything east of Side moves at the pace of the town it is passing through, and to the last few kilometres into the airport, which carry Antalya's own traffic in any month.

When you send the flight time we plan the pickup around it for the actual day of travel rather than for an average week, which for this corridor makes a noticeable difference between a Tuesday in May and a Saturday in August.

The lane, the gate and the luggage

Properties in Incekum sit on either side of the pine strip. Road-side hotels have a forecourt a vehicle can enter and turn in. Beach-side ones are often reached down a narrow lane with a pedestrian gate at the sea end and no room to turn at all; where that is the case the driver waits at the top of the lane on the coast road side and walks down for the cases.

Those lanes are unlit. For a collection before first light the meeting point is agreed when the booking is confirmed — usually the hotel's own entrance lamp, or the last lit corner on the coast road — and the driver rings the number on the booking a few minutes out instead of sounding a horn along a sleeping strip. It is worth telling reception the night before as well: most desks along here are staffed overnight in season and will open the luggage room for an early start.

Why the taxi question changes on the way out

Arriving, you take whatever is at the head of the airport queue. Departing, you are standing in a small resort at a time you chose, and Incekum is small. The cars that serve it are shared with the villages on either side, and out of season there may be one or two working before dawn. The hotel will telephone for you, but the vehicle still has to come from wherever it is, and you learn how long that takes at the moment it is least useful.

Booking in advance removes the wait and the price conversation together. The fare is fixed when you reserve, it is quoted for the vehicle, and it does not change if the coast road is heavy that morning. Nothing is paid up front either — the driver takes cash when you reach the terminal.

The last hundred metres are the part a stranger gets wrong. A driver who has never been down your particular lane will reach the beach gate, find no turning space, and back out past you. On a booked job the lane and the meeting point are written down before the vehicle leaves.

Nearby routes

The journey in the opposite direction, arriving rather than leaving, is covered on Antalya Airport to Incekum. Guests staying a little further along the same coast road can book their departure from Okurcalar or from Avsallar.

Return transfer

Both directions can sit on one booking, which is what most people here do: the same fixed arrangement brings you in from the terminal at the start of the holiday and takes you back out at the end of it. The arrival leg is written up separately as Antalya Airport to Incekum, and when the two are booked together your hotel and lane details only have to be given once.

“We booked a private transfer with MovXtra before arriving in Turkey, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Communication via both email and WhatsApp was quick, friendly, and professional. We were a group of 14 people, and during our holiday we used their services for several transfers. The vehicle was always clean and comfortable, the driver was friendly and helpful, and every journey went perfectly. 🚐👌 There is honestly nothing we could fault. We will definitely use MovXtra again on our future trips to Antalya. Highly recommended if you are looking for a reliable, professional, and reasonably priced private transfer service in Antalya. 🙏🇹🇷”

“I used Movxtra for both my airport transfers in Antalya — from the airport to my hotel and then back to the airport. I was very satisfied with the service from start to finish. The website is very easy to use, with clear and fixed prices, and there is no need to pay in advance. You simply pay the driver after arriving at your destination, which I found very convenient. Their WhatsApp communication is also excellent — they respond extremely quickly. After making the booking, I recommend contacting them directly on WhatsApp, as it makes communication even faster and easier. Both drivers were punctual, professional, and friendly. The vehicles were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had good air conditioning. I would definitely recommend Movxtra, especially if you want a reliable airport transfer without having to pay upfront. The fixed price and payment upon arrival make the whole process simple and stress-free. Very good service and definitely a company I would use again!”

Leaving Incekum — questions we are asked

Tap a question to view details.

My hotel is down a narrow beach lane. Where do we meet?

At the top of the lane on the coast road side, unless the lane is wide enough to turn in. The exact spot is agreed with you before the day, and the driver walks down for the cases rather than reversing out with them loaded.

What time will you pick me up?

We plan the pickup around your flight time, so send it with the booking and the agreed time comes back with the confirmation. The season and the hour of the flight both go into that plan.

Is anyone driving at three or four in the morning?

Yes. We run 24 hours a day and pre-dawn collections along this strip are ordinary work, priced exactly as a daytime run would be.

How long should the drive take?

Roughly 99 km, and 1 hour 30 to 1 hour 50 in normal conditions. Empty roads at night keep it near the shorter end, high-summer afternoons near the longer one.

Do you take cards?

No card is needed. Nothing is charged when you book and the driver is paid in cash at the end of the journey.

What if the holiday plan changes?

Cancel free of charge any time up to 24 hours before the pickup. One message is enough — there is no form to complete.

Can we take a pushchair and extra bags?

Yes, provided we know about them. Give us the case count and any bulky items at booking and the vehicle is sized accordingly; a child seat can be added the same way.
