What you get by arranging the Avsallar leg beforehand

Town or beach, sorted before the morning

The two halves of Avsallar are reached from different points and a driver sent to the wrong one loses ten minutes he has not got. Your street goes on the booking, so the vehicle arrives where you actually are.

A price that owes nothing to the meter

The fare is agreed in advance and covers the vehicle. It is unchanged by the traffic on the day, by the number of passengers, and by whether the flight is at dawn or at dusk.

Both ends of the timetable covered

Charter departures out of Antalya cluster early in the morning and late at night. Those are the hours we are busiest, and they carry no surcharge.

Settled at the end, cancelled free if needed

There is no prepayment and no card on file. Cash changes hands once you reach the terminal, and the reservation stays cancellable at no cost until 24 hours ahead of the agreed time.

Sized to the luggage, seats for children on request

Tell us the number of cases and anything bulky and the right vehicle is allocated. A child seat is fitted if you ask for one when the booking is made.

From the junction, 103 km west

Avsallar is really two places joined by one junction on the D400. The beach strip lies below the road; the town sits behind and above it. Every departure starts by getting back to that same point on the highway from whichever half you have been staying in. From the beach road it is a short climb. From the upper streets it is a few minutes of narrow, parked-up grid before the main road opens out.

After that comes 103 km of coast road taken westward. The first half hour runs past Incekum and Okurcalar and behind the Kizilot greenhouses; the Manavgat crossing and the Side junction follow and are the only genuinely urban part of the drive. From there the road is clear across the plain until Aksu, where Antalya's own traffic joins for the final approach to the terminal.

Reckon on 1 hour 35 to 1 hour 50 from door to door. A departure that leaves before six keeps to the shorter end, with the town quiet and the highway empty. Between mid-July and the end of August an afternoon flight is the harder job, because the Manavgat and Side sections and the airport approach happen to be slow at the same hours.

The pickup time is planned around the flight time you give us, using the day of the week and the month rather than a single average for the route.

Town street or beach forecourt

Which half of Avsallar you are in changes how the collection works. Hotels on the beach strip have a forecourt or a wide kerb, so the vehicle waits at the entrance and the cases go straight in. The town grid is different: the streets are short, they climb, and overnight both sides are lined with parked cars. A minibus can usually get in but cannot always turn, so where that applies we agree a corner within sight of your door and the driver walks up for the luggage.

Send the street name as well as the name of the hotel or apartment block. Buildings on opposite sides of the junction sometimes share the first half of a name, and apartment bookings tend to name the complex rather than the address. If you are leaving before the desk opens, mention it: the driver will ring the mobile number on the booking rather than the building's bell, and the night man at most properties here will have the gate open if he was told the day before.

The rank, the meter and the hill

Avsallar has a taxi rank and in the middle of the day it works perfectly well. The difficulty is that few flights leave Antalya in the middle of the day. Departures bunch into the early morning and the late evening, and a rank with four cars on it at noon can be a single car at five, with the hotel telephoning around while you watch the clock.

The fare is the other half. A meter running over 103 km produces a number you only see at the end, and there is no way to weigh it up while standing in the road beside your cases. A booked transfer is quoted once, for the vehicle, and it stays at that figure whether the road runs freely or crawls.

There is also the small matter of cash. A metered ride wants paying at the end in whatever the meter says, and the last morning of a holiday is exactly when the wallet has been deliberately emptied. With the fare agreed weeks earlier you know the precise amount to keep back.

Nearby routes

For the same journey run in reverse at the beginning of the holiday, see Antalya Airport to Avsallar. Departures are booked the same way from the resorts either side on the coast road: Incekum to the west and Payallar towards Alanya.

Return transfer

If the holiday is still ahead of you rather than behind, the identical arrangement works inbound and both legs can go on a single booking — the arrival journey is set out on Antalya Airport to Avsallar. Booked as a pair, the return pickup already has your street and your building on file, so the only thing left to confirm nearer the time is the flight.

“We booked a private transfer with MovXtra before arriving in Turkey, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Communication via both email and WhatsApp was quick, friendly, and professional. We were a group of 14 people, and during our holiday we used their services for several transfers. The vehicle was always clean and comfortable, the driver was friendly and helpful, and every journey went perfectly. 🚐👌 There is honestly nothing we could fault. We will definitely use MovXtra again on our future trips to Antalya. Highly recommended if you are looking for a reliable, professional, and reasonably priced private transfer service in Antalya. 🙏🇹🇷”

“I used Movxtra for both my airport transfers in Antalya — from the airport to my hotel and then back to the airport. I was very satisfied with the service from start to finish. The website is very easy to use, with clear and fixed prices, and there is no need to pay in advance. You simply pay the driver after arriving at your destination, which I found very convenient. Their WhatsApp communication is also excellent — they respond extremely quickly. After making the booking, I recommend contacting them directly on WhatsApp, as it makes communication even faster and easier. Both drivers were punctual, professional, and friendly. The vehicles were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had good air conditioning. I would definitely recommend Movxtra, especially if you want a reliable airport transfer without having to pay upfront. The fixed price and payment upon arrival make the whole process simple and stress-free. Very good service and definitely a company I would use again!”

Avsallar departures — practical questions

Tap a question to view details.

We are in the town centre, not on the beach road. Does that change anything?

Only the approach. Give us the street and we come to the door if the street allows it, or to an agreed corner a few steps away if it is too narrow to turn in.

How far ahead of my flight will you collect me?

We work the pickup time out from the flight time you give us at booking, then confirm it back to you. It is not something you need to estimate yourself.

Can you do a five in the morning pickup?

Yes. Early departures are the busiest part of our week here and they are charged at the standard fixed rate — there is no night supplement.

How long is the journey to the airport?

Around 103 km, usually 1 hour 35 to 1 hour 50. Summer afternoons run at the longer end of that; a pre-dawn departure at the shorter end.

How is payment handled?

Cash to the driver when you arrive at the terminal. No deposit is taken and no card details are needed to make the booking.

What if we have to cancel?

Free of charge up to 24 hours before the pickup time. Send a message and it is done.

Is the fare per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle. A couple and a family of five booking the same size of car pay the same, and a child seat can be included at no extra cost if requested.

Can you take us and our neighbours in one vehicle?

Yes, if the total party and luggage fit the vehicle you book. Give us the full head count and case count so the right size is sent out.
