Antalya Airport to Tahtalı Cable Car

The Tahtalı cable car climbs from the coast near Kemer to the 2,365-metre summit of Mount Tahtalı — the peak the ancients called Olympos. In a smooth ride the gondola lifts you above pine forest to a bare, often cloud-brushed top with sweeping views over the Gulf of Antalya, a summit café and walking platforms; on clear days you can see the coastline curve for miles.

The base station is around 1 hour 10 minutes from Antalya Airport, reached via the coastal road towards Kemer and Çamyuva. As it sits up a mountain access road away from regular transport, a private transfer is the easiest option; your driver waits at the lower station while you ride up, so there is no rush to catch a return.

Cars park at the lower station, where you buy a ticket for the round-trip gondola. The summit is noticeably colder and windier than the coast — bring a jacket even in summer — and altitude can be felt on the short walk to the viewpoints. Departures run regularly through the day but can pause in high winds, so allow flexibility; the visit itself takes one to two hours.
