Lying inland from Fethiye, Saklıkent is a genuine long-haul excursion: 205 km and 2 hours 58 minutes from Antalya Airport, via the coastal D400 and inland through Tlos to the gorge's car park. With no practical public transport link, it's firmly a full-day trip, best paired with Tlos or a riverside lunch.
From the car park, a suspended boardwalk clings to the rock face and leads down to the gorge mouth, where visitors wade across a fast, knee-deep river to continue inside — water shoes are essential, and the current stays cold year-round. Trout restaurants sit on platforms above the river.
