“We booked a private transfer with MovXtra before arriving in Turkey, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Communication via both email and WhatsApp was quick, friendly, and professional. We were a group of 14 people, and during our holiday we used their services for several transfers. The vehicle was always clean and comfortable, the driver was friendly and helpful, and every journey went perfectly. 🚐👌 There is honestly nothing we could fault. We will definitely use MovXtra again on our future trips to Antalya. Highly recommended if you are looking for a reliable, professional, and reasonably priced private transfer service in Antalya. 🙏🇹🇷”

Why a short run still needs planning
Fourteen kilometres flatters nobody
A twenty-minute drive tempts people to leave the room late, and the driving is never the part that goes wrong. Between the lift, the queue at the desk, the deposit refund and the walk out to the gate, the hotel can easily take longer than the road does. We build the pickup around your departure time and hold at the entrance rather than turning up as you finish.
The cliff road has its own rhythm
Lara's boulevard runs along the top of the Duden cliffs and carries everything the district does at once: hotel shuttles, excursion coaches and the local traffic between the plateau and the city. Mid-morning, when the check-out wave meets the day-trip departures, that stretch moves noticeably slower than it does at first light.
Check-out hour at the gate
The big boulevard properties funnel their departures through one lane, and by nine in the morning that lane is holding coaches. Your driver knows which opening private cars are being sent to at your hotel and waits there - which is not always the same one you were dropped at when you arrived.
The price is agreed, not measured
Short routes are where meters surprise people, because a few minutes of standing traffic is a large share of a small fare. Ours is a single figure for the vehicle, settled when you book and handed over in cash when you get out at the terminal.
Late flights, early flights, same arrangement
Departures from Antalya run at every hour and plenty of them leave before sunrise. We do not price the hour differently, and the pickup does not need a staffed reception desk to work - the driver calls the number on your booking.
Lara to the terminal: fourteen kilometres, and what fills them
About 14 km from the hotel gate to the terminal, and 20 to 29 minutes on the road. The boulevard sits on the cliff plateau east of Antalya; the airport lies inland and a little further east again, so the whole run stays on the city's eastern edge, turning away from the sea almost as soon as it starts rather than tracing the coast.
From the hotel gate the route joins the boulevard, follows it inland away from the cliff edge, and turns onto the D400 for the last few kilometres into the terminal roads. There is one genuine pinch point, where boulevard traffic meets the main road, and outside the morning and evening peaks it clears in a signal cycle or two.
Season and hour matter far more than distance here. In July and August the mid-morning window, when several hotels release their departures within the same half hour, is the busiest the boulevard gets. A four o'clock pickup has the road to itself and reaches the terminal at the short end of the range. Through winter it runs clear at almost any time.
Because the drive is short, the pickup hour is the thing worth getting right. Give us the departure time and the hotel name when you book, and we set the hour against your property's own check-out pattern rather than against a map estimate.
The gate you leave from is not always the gate you arrived at
Lara's resorts are large compounds with several openings onto the boulevard: an arrival portico, a service road, and often a separate lane that private cars are waved into when things are busy. On a check-out morning the portico is where the coaches sit. We confirm the property name at booking and the driver goes to whichever entrance will actually be usable at your hour, then waits there and rings the number you gave us.
Inside the compound, the walk from room to front door is real distance in the larger hotels, and a single lift can be serving several floors of people doing exactly the same thing at exactly the same time. If you are high up, or travelling with someone who cannot manage a long corridor with a case, say so at booking. The driver can hold at the door instead of the outer car park, and he will call rather than expect you to be watching the entrance.
Taxi or transfer for a short departure
On a route this short the argument is not really about the fare. It is about who is standing at the gate at the hour you need one. Ranks around Lara serve arriving guests through the day; at five in the morning your desk is competing for a car with every other desk on the boulevard, and in April or October there are fewer of them to compete for.
A booked departure takes that question off the table. The car is assigned the night before with the driver's number attached, and it is at the entrance before your hour rather than after it. That counts for more here than on a long route, because fourteen kilometres leaves you nothing to make up a late start with.
Luggage is the other half of it. All-inclusive groups in Lara travel heavy, and a car ordered on the spot is whichever one happened to be free. Booking matches the vehicle to the load you described, and the figure you were quoted stands whether the boulevard is empty or backed up to the junction.
Nearby routes
This departure service covers the whole Lara plateau, from the boulevard resorts down to the apartment blocks nearer the city, and it continues east into the neighbouring Kundu to Antalya Airport transfer zone - several hotels carrying Lara in their name actually stand there rather than here. The inbound half of the journey is the Antalya Airport to Lara transfer. West of the centre, the equivalent page is the Konyaalti to Antalya Airport transfer.
Return transfer
Most people put this leg on the same booking as the inbound one. The same door-to-door service runs from the terminal out to the boulevard as the Antalya Airport to Lara transfer, and a round trip can be arranged in one go, with the same cancellation terms on each half. Settling the departure while you are arriving means one less thing to organise on the evening before you fly.

Travellers who booked this service
“I used Movxtra for both my airport transfers in Antalya — from the airport to my hotel and then back to the airport. I was very satisfied with the service from start to finish. The website is very easy to use, with clear and fixed prices, and there is no need to pay in advance. You simply pay the driver after arriving at your destination, which I found very convenient. Their WhatsApp communication is also excellent — they respond extremely quickly. After making the booking, I recommend contacting them directly on WhatsApp, as it makes communication even faster and easier. Both drivers were punctual, professional, and friendly. The vehicles were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had good air conditioning. I would definitely recommend Movxtra, especially if you want a reliable airport transfer without having to pay upfront. The fixed price and payment upon arrival make the whole process simple and stress-free. Very good service and definitely a company I would use again!”
“Everything was great, thank you! The transfer went very smoothly, and the drivers were punctual, professional, and very kind. We really appreciated the service.”

Lara departure transfers - common questions
Tap a question to view details.
How long does the transfer from Lara to Antalya Airport take?
About 14 km and 20 to 29 minutes on the road. The variable is the boulevard junction and the hour you travel, not the distance itself.
What time will you pick me up?
We plan the pickup around the flight time you give us, taking your hotel's own check-out pattern into account, and confirm the hour with you in advance.
Where does the driver wait at a large Lara hotel?
At the entrance private cars are being sent to on your morning, which during a busy check-out is often not the main arrival portico. Confirm the property at booking and the driver calls the number you gave us once he is in position.
Can you collect before dawn?
Yes - any hour, all year, at the same price as a pickup at midday.
How many bags will fit?
As many as the vehicle you booked was chosen for. Tell us about the cases, the buggy and anything oversized when you book rather than at the gate.
Do you carry child seats?
On request. Send the children's ages with the booking and the seat is in the car before it leaves for you.
How do I pay?
Cash to the driver on the day. Nothing is charged to a card to hold the booking, and the fixed figure does not move afterwards.
Can I cancel?
Free of charge up to 24 hours before the pickup. Message us and we confirm it straight back - there is no form to fill in.
