“We booked a private transfer with MovXtra before arriving in Turkey, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Communication via both email and WhatsApp was quick, friendly, and professional. We were a group of 14 people, and during our holiday we used their services for several transfers. The vehicle was always clean and comfortable, the driver was friendly and helpful, and every journey went perfectly. 🚐👌 There is honestly nothing we could fault. We will definitely use MovXtra again on our future trips to Antalya. Highly recommended if you are looking for a reliable, professional, and reasonably priced private transfer service in Antalya. 🙏🇹🇷”

What the Konyaalti departure actually asks of a driver
You travel through the city, not away from it
Every other resort run puts Antalya behind it within a few minutes. This one goes through the middle. Between roughly half past seven and half past nine on a weekday, the traffic pouring into the centre from the western suburbs is the traffic you are joining, and a Sunday at that same hour is a different road entirely. We set the pickup by the day and the hour, not by a flat number of minutes.
A waiting spot a car can actually use
Behind the beach boulevard, Konyaalti is ordinary residential streets - Liman, Hurma, Uncali - with cars parked along both kerbs and a fair number of one-way turns. Where a vehicle cannot hold at your door we agree a corner or a wider junction a few steps away before the morning comes, so nobody ends up dragging cases along a pavement looking for a car.
The meter's favourite stretch is exactly the one you are on
A metered fare on this run is decided by the city centre section, which is the one part of the drive nobody can promise in advance. Our figure is agreed when you book and does not move if the boulevard is slow, if a junction is closed, or if the driver has to take a longer line through the middle of town.
Before dawn is normal here
A large share of departures out of Antalya leave in the dark, and the smaller apart-hotels along this strip do not always have anyone awake at four in the morning. We work around the clock at the same rate and settle the pickup with you the evening before, so the arrangement never depends on a night porter remembering it.
Children, seats, and the same number at the end
Child seats are arranged on request - send the ages when you book and the seat is in the car before it sets off for you. The figure you were quoted is for the vehicle, so a fifth passenger or a sixth case does not change what you hand over.
Leaving Konyaalti: the city crossing, and when it is slow
Konyaalti sits at the western end of Antalya with the Beydaglari behind it, and there is about 22 km of city between the pebble shore and the runway. The drive takes 35 to 46 minutes. Almost none of that is open road: the distance is modest and the variable is what the centre happens to be doing when you pass through it.
From the strip the route turns inland off the beach boulevard, climbs away from the shore and joins the main axis running through the middle of Antalya, skirting the edge of the old town before picking up the D400 eastbound for the final stretch to the terminal roads. The junctions in the centre are where minutes are won or lost; that last section on the D400 behaves the same way in almost any condition.
The two slow windows belong to the city rather than the airport. Weekday mornings from about 07:30 to 09:30 pull commuters inward from the west, which is precisely your direction of travel. Late afternoons from about 16:00 to 19:00 reverse it, and through July and August both windows run longer and heavier. A pickup before seven crosses an empty town and arrives at the short end of the range.
Send us the departure time and we work the pickup backwards from it against the day you are actually travelling. A Tuesday in November and a Saturday in August are not the same 22 km.
Where the driver waits in Konyaalti
The beach boulevard is no place to stand a car in summer, and several of the larger hotels along it have a forecourt that fills with day-trip coaches by mid-morning. Where a property has its own entrance the driver comes in and waits at the door. Where it does not, we fix a spot in advance - usually the corner of your street and the boulevard - and put it in writing the day before rather than working it out over the phone at five in the morning.
A good number of guests here are in apartments and small apart-hotels rather than gated resorts, and that changes the pickup more than the postcode does. There may be nobody on the desk overnight, one lift serving the whole building, and a flight of steps down to the street. Tell us the floor and the number of cases and we send a driver who can park close enough to carry them; he rings the number on your booking a few minutes out rather than pressing a doorbell at four.
Finding a car in Konyaalti on the morning you leave
Arriving, you walk out of a terminal where cars are already queued and waiting for someone. Leaving Konyaalti, the queue runs the other way: you are one address among hundreds spread along a seven-kilometre strip, and at four or five in the morning the ranks near the beach are empty. Asking reception to call something works well enough in season and is far less certain in March or November, when a good part of the strip is shut.
The fare is the second difference. A metered run across the middle of Antalya is priced by how long the centre takes on that particular morning, which is the one thing nobody can quote you the night before. A booked transfer settles the number before you leave the room, and you hand it to the driver in cash at the terminal - no card, no deposit held anywhere.
Then there is the practical question of which car turns up. Something called at short notice is whatever happens to be nearest, and that is often a standard car whose boot will not take four large cases plus a pushchair. Booking sizes the vehicle against the load you described, and the load is agreed while you still have time to correct it.
Nearby routes
Konyaalti here means the whole western shore, from the Liman end through to the harbour, and the same departure service covers the apartment districts of Hurma and Uncali sitting behind it. For the journey in the opposite direction see the Antalya Airport to Konyaalti transfer. Guests staying east of the centre usually want the Lara to Antalya Airport transfer or the Kundu to Antalya Airport transfer instead.
Return transfer
If the inbound leg is still ahead of you, the same road runs the other way as the Antalya Airport to Konyaalti transfer. Booking the pair together is usually simpler than arranging the departure on its own halfway through the holiday: ask for the return when you book the arrival and the driver's details for your last morning are settled while you are still unpacking.

Travellers who booked this service
“I used Movxtra for both my airport transfers in Antalya — from the airport to my hotel and then back to the airport. I was very satisfied with the service from start to finish. The website is very easy to use, with clear and fixed prices, and there is no need to pay in advance. You simply pay the driver after arriving at your destination, which I found very convenient. Their WhatsApp communication is also excellent — they respond extremely quickly. After making the booking, I recommend contacting them directly on WhatsApp, as it makes communication even faster and easier. Both drivers were punctual, professional, and friendly. The vehicles were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had good air conditioning. I would definitely recommend Movxtra, especially if you want a reliable airport transfer without having to pay upfront. The fixed price and payment upon arrival make the whole process simple and stress-free. Very good service and definitely a company I would use again!”
“Everything was great, thank you! The transfer went very smoothly, and the drivers were punctual, professional, and very kind. We really appreciated the service.”

Konyaalti departures - questions we are asked
Tap a question to view details.
How long does the drive from Konyaalti to the airport take?
Between 35 and 46 minutes for the roughly 22 km, and the difference is almost entirely the city centre. Early mornings sit at the short end of that; weekday rush hours and summer afternoons at the long one.
How early will you collect me?
We plan the pickup around the departure time you give us and confirm the hour with you before the day. Send the flight time and the address on the strip when you book and we will tell you when we intend to be at the door.
Can you come before dawn?
Yes, at any hour and in any month. Pre-dawn pickups are routine along this strip and they carry the same price as one at midday.
Where exactly will the driver be standing?
At the property entrance if a car can hold there, or at an agreed corner on the boulevard if the street is too narrow for it. Either way the point is fixed in writing the day before, not decided on the morning.
My street is one way and very narrow. Is that a problem?
Give us the address at booking and we check the approach ourselves. Where it is awkward the driver parks at the nearest junction that works and comes to the door for the bags.
How much luggage can I bring?
As much as the vehicle you booked was chosen to hold, which is why we ask for cases rather than people. Declare oversized items - a bike box, a buggy, a surfboard - at booking and we allocate accordingly.
Do you have child seats?
Yes, on request. Give us the children's ages when you book and the seat is fitted before the driver leaves for you.
How and when do I pay, and can I cancel?
Cash to the driver on the day. No card is taken to hold the booking and the agreed figure does not change afterwards. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the pickup - send a message and we confirm it.
