Vehicle and Luggage for the Way Home

Kiris departures are priced per vehicle rather than per seat, so four people travelling with four large cases pay what four people travelling light pay. Tell us how many cases you have as well as how many passengers: on this route the boot decides the vehicle more often than the headcount does. Child seats can be requested when you book so the driver brings the right one with him.

What You Get on the Kiris Departure Run

The number is settled before the day

Your fare is agreed when the booking is confirmed and it stays there. A slow morning on the Kemer strip, a queue along the Antalya seafront, one more case than you expected at the gate — none of that changes the amount. There is no meter running in the car and nothing to work out at the terminal.

Collection time built around your flight

Give us the departure time on your ticket and we set the pickup against it, taking the season and the day of the week into account rather than applying one rule to every booking. If your flight time moves, message us and we move the collection with it.

The car comes to your gate, not the junction

Kiris properties open onto one narrow shore road with very few places for a vehicle to stand. Your driver pulls up at the hotel's own entrance and waits there, so nobody is walking along the verge with luggage looking for a car parked further down.

Pre-dawn starts are ordinary work here

A good share of the flights out of Antalya leave while the bay is still dark, which means collections at two, three and four in the morning through the summer. We work around the clock, so booking one of those hours is the same process as booking a midday run.

Cancel free of charge up to a day before

Plans change at the end of a holiday more often than at the start of one. A Kiris booking can be cancelled at no cost up to 24 hours before the collection time — send a message and we confirm it. Nothing is charged to a card in the meantime, because no card is taken.

Leaving Kiris: The Road North to the Airport

Kiris hotels stand in a single line along the bay, so every departure begins the same way: a short run on the shore road to the Kemer junction. That first stretch is the slowest part of the whole drive and the least predictable. Delivery vans stop where they need to, hotel shuttles pull out with little warning, and there is no second lane to use while you wait behind them.

Past Kemer the road opens out and the driving gets easy. The section between Beldibi and the edge of Antalya runs along the cliff through a series of tunnels; it is quick, but it is also where one slow lorry sets the pace for everyone behind it and holds it for a while. Nothing here is dramatic. It simply takes what it takes, and the collection time is set with that in mind instead of assuming a clear road.

The part guests underestimate is the last one. Antalya Airport sits beyond the city on its eastern side, so reaching the Konyaalti seafront does not mean the journey is nearly over. The route carries on along the shore boulevard and across the southern edge of town, and on a weekday that section absorbs the local commute. The distance from the bay to the terminal is about 68 km and we plan the trip at 70 to 80 minutes, with the top of that range applying to summer mornings and to changeover days when the whole strip empties at once.

Very early departures are the straightforward ones. Before first light the shore road is empty, the coast highway is empty and the city crossing is quick, which is why a pickup in the small hours usually runs closer to the lower end of the range than a mid-morning one does.

Pickup at Your Kiris Hotel

Your driver waits at your hotel's own entrance — inside the barrier where the property lets vehicles through, and directly in front of the gate where it does not. The bay road is narrow and has almost nowhere to stand, so the car is brought to the door rather than left along the road with you walking out to find it. Please give the full property name when you book: several hotels here share a first word, and the gatehouse works from the whole name before it lifts the barrier.

For an early start, tell reception the night before so someone is on the desk to unlock the lobby and open the barrier. If your room is in a block set back from the entrance, allow a few minutes to walk down with your cases; the driver will load them, but the vehicle cannot always be brought to the block itself. When he arrives he will call or send a message rather than sound the horn, which matters at three in the morning on a road where every room faces the sea.

Taxi or Booked Car for the Departure

Guests who are arriving can walk to a rank. Guests who are leaving cannot. Kiris has no rank of its own, so a taxi has to be called out to the bay, and outside the busy months there may be only one or two cars covering the strip at six in the morning. Reception will try for you, but the call is made at the hour you needed to be moving, not before it.

The second difference is the fare. On a one-way run of this length the driver goes home empty afterwards, and that is usually where a conversation starts at the kerb with your luggage already out of the lobby. A booked car settles it in advance: one amount, agreed when you book, handed over in cash at the end of the trip.

None of this makes local taxis useless. It makes them uncertain at exactly the hour when a departure has no slack left in it.

Nearby routes

Kiris shares its shore road with the rest of the Kemer bay, and the pickup problem is much the same at each of them. Along the same coast, further south: Tekirova to Antalya Airport. For the opposite direction — terminal to hotel gate — see Antalya Airport to Kiris, or Antalya Airport to Kemer for the wider area.

Return transfer

Plenty of guests book the way home first and sort out the inbound leg afterwards, which is fine — the two can be booked together as a round trip or separately, at the same fixed price per vehicle either way. Booking them together means one confirmation and one set of details to check. If you have not arranged the journey in the other direction yet, the terminal-to-bay side of this route is written up on the Antalya Airport to Kiris transfer page.

“We booked a private transfer with MovXtra before arriving in Turkey, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Communication via both email and WhatsApp was quick, friendly, and professional. We were a group of 14 people, and during our holiday we used their services for several transfers. The vehicle was always clean and comfortable, the driver was friendly and helpful, and every journey went perfectly. 🚐👌 There is honestly nothing we could fault. We will definitely use MovXtra again on our future trips to Antalya. Highly recommended if you are looking for a reliable, professional, and reasonably priced private transfer service in Antalya. 🙏🇹🇷”

“I used Movxtra for both my airport transfers in Antalya — from the airport to my hotel and then back to the airport. I was very satisfied with the service from start to finish. The website is very easy to use, with clear and fixed prices, and there is no need to pay in advance. You simply pay the driver after arriving at your destination, which I found very convenient. Their WhatsApp communication is also excellent — they respond extremely quickly. After making the booking, I recommend contacting them directly on WhatsApp, as it makes communication even faster and easier. Both drivers were punctual, professional, and friendly. The vehicles were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had good air conditioning. I would definitely recommend Movxtra, especially if you want a reliable airport transfer without having to pay upfront. The fixed price and payment upon arrival make the whole process simple and stress-free. Very good service and definitely a company I would use again!”

Kiris to Antalya Airport — Common Questions

Tap a question to view details.

Where exactly will the driver be waiting?

At your hotel's own entrance. Where the property has a barrier, he gives the booking name at the gatehouse and comes inside; where it does not, the car stands in front of the entrance. He will call or message on arrival rather than use the horn.

What time will I be collected?

Tell us the departure time on your ticket and we plan the collection around it, allowing for the season, the day of the week and the state of the Kemer strip at that hour. You will have the agreed pickup time in writing before the day.

Can you collect before dawn?

Yes. We work 24 hours a day, every day, and early-morning departures from Kiris are routine through the summer. Ask reception the evening before to have the barrier attended and the lobby door unlocked at that time.

How long does the drive take?

It is about 68 km from the bay to the terminal, and we plan the journey at 70 to 80 minutes. Summer mornings and hotel changeover days sit at the upper end of that range.

How much luggage can I bring?

Tell us the number of cases and any bulky items — golf bags, pushchairs, a bicycle — when you book, and we allocate a vehicle with the boot space for them. The price is per vehicle, so the size of the car is a fitting question rather than a pricing one.

Do you have child seats?

Yes, on request. Tell us the child's age when you book so the driver brings a seat that fits, and fit it before the luggage goes in rather than at the gate.

How do I pay?

You pay the driver in cash on the day. No card details are taken when you book and no deposit is required. The amount is fixed at the time of booking, so the figure you agreed is the figure you hand over.

Can I cancel or change the booking?

Free cancellation applies up to 24 hours before the collection time. For a change of time or hotel, send us a message and we will confirm the new details back to you.

Can I book the return leg as well?

Yes. A round trip is booked as one job covering both directions, and the price stays fixed per vehicle. You can also book the two legs separately if your inbound flight is not yet settled.
