Kadriye to Antalya Airport Transfer

Kadriye lies roughly 26 km east of Antalya Airport, and the drive back takes between 27 and 37 minutes. Very little of that is spent on the fast road. The first few minutes go on Kadriye's own grid of residential streets, working out from your gate to the main road, and only after that does the journey settle into one continuous westbound run.

The short local section is where the time goes when it goes anywhere. Between roughly eight and ten in the morning it carries school traffic and the vans that service the hotels, and the junctions towards the resort entrances back up behind them. In late July and August that same handful of streets is the slowest part of the whole trip while the main road itself keeps moving. Leave before six and you meet almost nothing.

After that there is no town centre to cross and no coastal diversion. The road runs west past the Serik exits with farmland and golf land on either side, and the only decision left is the airport approach itself: which terminal your flight departs from, which we settle against your booking rather than on the day.

That is why the honest figure is a band and not a single number. Twenty-seven minutes describes a dawn departure on empty streets; thirty-seven describes a busy August morning. Send us the departure time of your flight and we plan the pickup around it.

Most people staying here are in villas, apart-hotels or rented apartments rather than a named resort with a manned lobby, and that changes the shape of a departure. There is often no desk to leave the cases at overnight and nobody to carry them down at six in the morning. So the pickup point is a gate: the particular one you use, recorded with the building name and the villa or apartment number when you book, because street names repeat across the residential blocks and a pin dropped on the town helps nobody.

If your property sits behind an automatic barrier or a compound gate that is locked overnight, say so at the time of booking. The driver then stops on the outside of it and calls, instead of sitting in front of a barrier waiting for someone to open it. The other thing worth doing the evening before is the key handover - keybox, caretaker or agency envelope - so that loading takes a minute or two rather than ten while somebody is woken up.

Catching a taxi into Kadriye is a queue problem. Catching one out of it is an availability problem, and they are not the same thing. This is a residential town rather than a rank with a permanent line of cars waiting, so outside the busiest weeks, and at five in the morning in any month, the nearest free car may be coming across from Belek or Serik while you stand at the gate with the luggage.

A reception desk can make the call for you where there is one, but you then learn the cost as a meter reading at the terminal, and the car that turns up is whatever happened to be free rather than whatever fits four large cases. Booked in advance, both of those are settled while you are still packing: the vehicle is chosen from your bag count and the amount is agreed before anyone gets in.

It also changes who has to organise what at dawn. You give us the flight, we work the pickup back from it, and there is nothing left to arrange or agree at the gate in the dark.
