Bogazkent to Antalya Airport Transfer

The first stretch of this journey is lanes rather than road, which is why the pickup spot in Bogazkent gets agreed when you book and not at the door on the morning.

Why the Bogazkent run is worth booking in advance

The lanes cost minutes, not money

How long the approach takes depends on what you meet on it - a tractor, a coach loading at the complex next door, a van reversing out of a narrow entrance. Because the fare was set when you booked, that unpredictability sits on our side of the arrangement rather than yours.

One vehicle, one amount

A party of six with a fortnight of luggage pays for the car, not for six places in it. We work out what to send from the bag count, so nothing has to be reorganised on the pavement while the engine runs.

We are on the road through the night

The longer routes along this coast tend to start early, and drivers are rostered right through the night and the early hours. A departure that has to leave Bogazkent at two or three in the morning is an ordinary booking here, not an exception we have to arrange around.

A seat for the youngest passenger

Child and booster seats are fitted on request. Mention the age at the point of booking and the seat travels out with the vehicle, which matters more than usual on a route where nothing can be borrowed locally at that hour.

Cash at the end, cancel free before it

There is no prepayment and no card details are needed to hold the booking. The driver takes the fare once you reach the terminal, and the booking can be cancelled without charge until 24 hours ahead.

Out of the lanes and onto the highway west

The 41 km back to Antalya Airport splits into two unequal halves, and they behave nothing alike. The first is the local one: residential streets and compound access roads east of the main resort strip, narrow, largely unmarked, and slow by design. The second is the highway, fast and continuous all the way west. Together they take between 43 and 56 minutes.

Almost all of the variation belongs to the first half. In the morning those lanes carry service vans, farm traffic coming off the fields inland and tour coaches picking up from the same complexes as you. Meeting one of them on a single-track section costs a couple of minutes each time, and there is no way round. At four or five in the morning it costs nothing at all, which is one reason so many departures here are booked early.

On the highway the pattern is the reverse of the one you met coming in. From about seven on weekday mornings the westbound carriageway carries commuter traffic towards Antalya, and through July and August the resort junctions between here and Belek thicken the near section on top of that. Later in the day it thins out again.

So the band runs from 43 minutes on a clear road to 56 when the lanes and the highway are both working against you. Tell us your flight departure time and we plan the pickup around it, rather than around an average.

Agreeing the pickup point in Bogazkent

The compounds here take their names from the developers who built them, and several near-identical ones sit within a couple of streets of each other. Some entrances are set well back from the lane and a few share an access track with a neighbour. Give the property in full when you book - the complex, the block, the villa or apartment number - and add a landmark on the lane if you have one. That description is what the driver drives to.

A departure from Bogazkent is often made in the dark, and the lanes are unlit with turnings that are hard to tell apart at that hour. If your gate is locked overnight, or the lane is too tight to turn a minibus around in, pick a spot on the wider road when you book: the driver stops there, calls you, and the walk with the cases is short. Hotels with an overnight desk can usually take the luggage down to the lobby the evening before. Self-catering compounds generally cannot, so plan on bringing it out yourselves.

Why a taxi is harder to find on the way out of Bogazkent

There is no rank here that stays staffed through the night. Out of season there may be no car in the village at all at the hour you need one, and the vehicle that eventually comes has been called across from Belek or Serik - so the waiting happens at your end of the phone, with the bags already outside.

Cost behaves differently in this direction too. A metered fare over 41 km keeps counting through the lanes, and the lanes are precisely the part of the route that varies. Agreeing an amount in advance takes that away entirely: the figure quoted when you book is the figure paid when you arrive, whatever the approach did that morning.

The last difference is who has to explain the address. A dispatcher taking a call at five in the morning has to find a compound that maps do not resolve cleanly, from a description given over a phone. On a booked transfer that work is done days earlier, in writing, when there is time to get it right.

Nearby routes

Bogazkent marks the eastern end of the Belek transfer zone. For the journey in the opposite direction, see the Antalya Airport to Bogazkent transfer. The closest neighbouring departure page is Kadriye to Antalya Airport, while the wider area is covered by the Belek transfer page.

Return transfer

Travelling the other way, or want the pair handled together? The Antalya Airport to Bogazkent transfer page covers the inbound journey on the same terms. Booked as a round trip, the gate used on the way in becomes the gate we come back to at the end of the week, so the lane description only has to be given once.

“We booked a private transfer with MovXtra before arriving in Turkey, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Communication via both email and WhatsApp was quick, friendly, and professional. We were a group of 14 people, and during our holiday we used their services for several transfers. The vehicle was always clean and comfortable, the driver was friendly and helpful, and every journey went perfectly. 🚐👌 There is honestly nothing we could fault. We will definitely use MovXtra again on our future trips to Antalya. Highly recommended if you are looking for a reliable, professional, and reasonably priced private transfer service in Antalya. 🙏🇹🇷”

“I used Movxtra for both my airport transfers in Antalya — from the airport to my hotel and then back to the airport. I was very satisfied with the service from start to finish. The website is very easy to use, with clear and fixed prices, and there is no need to pay in advance. You simply pay the driver after arriving at your destination, which I found very convenient. Their WhatsApp communication is also excellent — they respond extremely quickly. After making the booking, I recommend contacting them directly on WhatsApp, as it makes communication even faster and easier. Both drivers were punctual, professional, and friendly. The vehicles were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had good air conditioning. I would definitely recommend Movxtra, especially if you want a reliable airport transfer without having to pay upfront. The fixed price and payment upon arrival make the whole process simple and stress-free. Very good service and definitely a company I would use again!”

Bogazkent departures - practical questions

Tap a question to view details.

How long does it take to reach Antalya Airport from Bogazkent?

Between 43 and 56 minutes over roughly 41 km. The highway portion is reliable. What stretches the journey is the local approach and, on weekday mornings from about seven, westbound traffic heading into Antalya.

Where will the driver wait if my lane is too narrow?

We agree a spot on the wider road at the time of booking - a junction, a shop, the entrance of a larger complex nearby. The driver waits there and calls you when he arrives rather than trying to turn a minibus in a dead end.

How is the pickup time decided?

Give us the departure time of your flight when you book and we plan the pickup around it, then confirm the time back to you. Pre-dawn collections are ordinary here, so if you would rather leave earlier than we suggest, say so and it is booked that way.

My compound name shows the wrong place on maps - is that a problem?

It is common in this part of the district and it is why we ask for more than a pin. Full property name, block, and any nearby landmark on the lane are enough for the driver to plan the approach before setting out.

Can we take a lot of luggage?

Yes, as long as we know about it. Give the case count, and mention pushchairs, sports equipment or anything oversized, so the vehicle sent is one that will actually swallow it.

Do you have child seats?

Child and booster seats are available on request. Ask for one when you book and give the age of the child, so the correct seat is fitted before the vehicle sets out for you.

How do I pay?

You pay the driver in cash at the end of the journey. No card details are taken when you book and nothing is charged in advance. The fare is fixed when the booking is confirmed, so the amount agreed is the amount handed over.

Can I cancel if the plan changes?

Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the pickup time. Send a message on WhatsApp and we confirm it straight away - there is no form to fill in and no call centre to get through.
