Its turquoise water and pale sand, hemmed in by steep cliffs, make it one of the most photographed beaches on the Turkish coast — compact but spectacular, and reached by a long flight of steps down from the clifftop road above.
Kaputaş is a far-western run, around 3 hours 12 minutes from Antalya Airport along the scenic coastal D400 beyond Kaş. It is a committed full-day outing, often combined with Kaş or Kalkan, and there is only a roadside stop rather than a town nearby — so a private transfer that waits is far easier than relying on the limited dolmuş service.
Access is by roughly 180 steps down from a small clifftop car park and bus stop; there is no road to the sand, so it does not suit anyone who cannot manage stairs.
