Antalya Airport to Çıralı Beach

Çıralı is a long, quiet pebble-and-sand beach below Olympos, prized for staying low-key while the bigger resorts grew up elsewhere. Backed by small family pensions and orange groves rather than high-rise hotels, it is a protected loggerhead-turtle nesting site, and the same shoreline gives easy access to the ancient ruins of Olympos and the natural Chimaera flames burning on the hillside above.

Çıralı is about 1 hour 15 minutes from Antalya Airport, southwest down the coast and then along a winding lane to the shore. The village sits off the main highway with sparse public transport, so a private transfer is much simpler than connecting by bus; your driver delivers you to the beachfront and returns whenever your day is done.

Access is relaxed and largely free, with small car parks and beachfront cafés renting sunbeds in season; out of high summer some places wind down, so it is quietest in spring and autumn. As a turtle nesting beach, parts are roped off and night-time lighting is restricted — worth respecting. Bring beach shoes for the pebbles; many visitors stay a full, unhurried day.
