Kaleiçi Old Town is Antalya's restored Ottoman-era harbour quarter, a cobbled peninsula 16 km and 28 minutes from Antalya Airport by road.
Kaleiçi is Antalya's restored old town in the city centre, a horseshoe-shaped peninsula of cobbled lanes, restored mansions, boutique hotels and harbour-facing restaurants around the old marina. Its core is pedestrian-only — lanes too narrow for vehicles — with Roman-era Hadrian's Gate on Atatürk Boulevard the best-known entrance from the modern centre.
From Antalya Airport it's a 16 km drive to Kaleiçi, roughly 28 minutes outside peak traffic — longer in mid-summer or on cruise-ship days. As the old town's core is closed to vehicles, we drop you at the nearest permitted point to your hotel — usually the Saat Kulesi (Clock Tower) entrance or the Yat Limanı marina car park.
Walking is the only practical way to move inside Kaleiçi — lanes are too narrow for vehicles, and parking is restricted to perimeter lots, chiefly at the Saat Kulesi entrance and the Yat Limanı marina. Cobbled, uneven paving makes wheeled luggage and strollers slow going in places.
