Booking Your Manavgat Departure With MovXtra

The Collection Time Comes From Your Flight

Give us the flight and its departure time when you book, and we set the collection against it. That time is confirmed with your booking rather than agreed on the doorstep, and if the airline reschedules you before your last day, message us and we reset it by hand.

The Fare Is Settled Before You Leave the Door

Manavgat at eight in the morning is not Manavgat at two in the afternoon, and the price is indifferent to the difference. What you agree at booking is what the driver takes at the terminal, in cash, on the day. Nothing is added for a slow crossing of the bridge or a market-day crawl through the centre.

Three in the Morning Is an Ordinary Booking

A great many departures out of Antalya are scheduled before dawn, so we work around the clock and an early start is routine work rather than a favour. The vehicle is outside at the agreed time, which saves you trying to find someone awake in the town at that hour.

A Meeting Point a Minibus Can Actually Reach

Much of the centre is one-way, narrow, and single-file once cars are parked on both sides. Where a nine-seater cannot stand at your door we name the corner or the wider street beside the property when you book, so on the morning you walk thirty seconds instead of standing in the road wondering.

One Price for the Vehicle, Whoever Is In It

You are booking the vehicle, not the seats, so five people travelling together pay what two would pay in the same minivan. Bring back what you arrived with: the vehicle is sized against the case count you give us, not against head count alone.

Leaving Manavgat for Antalya Airport — Road, Traffic and Timing

Manavgat is a working town rather than a resort strip, and the departure starts that way. The vehicle collects you inside it — the streets above the river, the market quarter, one of the pensions along the water, or a hotel out on the waterfall road — and then climbs out of the river basin to the D400 coastal highway. From the junction it is one road west, past the Side and Sorgun turnoffs, past Kadriye and Belek, through Serik and down onto the Aksu plain. The airport sits on the eastern edge of the city, so you never enter Antalya itself.

How long that takes depends almost entirely on when you set off. Before seven the bridge and the junction are clear and the highway carries mostly freight, which is the fast end of the range. From mid-morning the town thickens: Tuesday is market day and the approach streets slow down as traffic is pulled toward the centre, and through the afternoon the minibuses shuttling between Manavgat and Side make the junction sticky. The final section, from Aksu to the terminal, is the busiest part of the road on any day of the week.

The distance is roughly 67 km and the drive takes 64 to 81 minutes. The lower figure belongs to an empty road at dawn; the upper one is a July afternoon with the coast loaded and the airport approach queueing. We plan the pickup around the flight time you give us, which is where that spread is absorbed — it is not something you should be estimating from your hotel room the night before.

The view changes twice on the way. Out of the valley you are among citrus and reed beds with the river behind you; through the middle stretch the road runs between greenhouse plastic, roadside fruit stalls and the pine belt behind the resorts; then the land flattens into the plain and aircraft start coming over low on their approach. If you want a last photograph of the coast, the stretch before Side is the last good chance to ask for the window.

Where the Driver Waits in Manavgat

Hotels on the waterfall road and the larger places outside the centre have a forecourt, and the vehicle simply stands at the entrance. Inside the town it is rarely that neat. The streets around the market and above the river are one-way, frequently single-file once both kerbs are parked, and several of the riverside pensions have no frontage at all. Tell us the property name and the street when you book; where a minibus cannot stop at the door we name the corner it will stand on and send that with your confirmation, so nobody is circling the block at five in the morning.

For an early start it is worth telling reception the night before. In most Manavgat hotels the desk is covered overnight, but the main door may be locked and the lift shut down, and the difference of five minutes on a narrow street is felt by everyone behind you. Have the cases in the lobby before the agreed time and the driver loads them. If you are in an apartment with no night staff, give us a mobile number that will be switched on: the driver calls up from the street rather than ringing every bell in the building.

Taxi or Booked Vehicle for the Airport Run

Finding a taxi in Manavgat is a different problem from finding one at an airport. There are ranks in town and cars through the day, but the trade follows the town's own hours. At three or four in the morning, which is when a large share of Antalya departures leave, you are relying on a night driver being reachable and willing to make the long run west and come back empty. In October, once the season thins out, that gets harder rather than easier.

The second difference is the meter. A metered fare is priced by whatever traffic you happen to meet, and on this road the difference between a quiet dawn and a busy afternoon is a quarter of an hour or more of driving. A booked vehicle is quoted per vehicle before you travel and does not move afterwards; you hand the fare to the driver in cash at the end rather than negotiating at the kerb with the bags already out of the boot.

Luggage is the third. Two large cases and a pushchair do not go into a standard car, and splitting a family across two taxis at dawn is how people end up arriving at the terminal separately. When you book, list the bags along with the passengers and the vehicle is chosen to hold both.

Nearby routes

Pickups cover the whole of Manavgat at one price per vehicle: the town centre and the market quarter, the streets above the river, the pensions by the water, the waterfall road and the hotels out toward Side. For the journey in the opposite direction see Antalya Airport to Manavgat. Guests further east along the coast usually want Kizilagac to Antalya Airport instead.

Return transfer

If the inbound leg is not booked yet, the same fixed price and the same door-to-door service run in the other direction: Antalya Airport to Manavgat covers the journey out from the terminal to your address in the town, at the waterfall or beside the river. Taking both legs together is usually simpler — one conversation, a price fixed for each leg, and we already hold your address when the departure comes round at the end of the holiday.

“We booked a private transfer with MovXtra before arriving in Turkey, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Communication via both email and WhatsApp was quick, friendly, and professional. We were a group of 14 people, and during our holiday we used their services for several transfers. The vehicle was always clean and comfortable, the driver was friendly and helpful, and every journey went perfectly. 🚐👌 There is honestly nothing we could fault. We will definitely use MovXtra again on our future trips to Antalya. Highly recommended if you are looking for a reliable, professional, and reasonably priced private transfer service in Antalya. 🙏🇹🇷”

“I used Movxtra for both my airport transfers in Antalya — from the airport to my hotel and then back to the airport. I was very satisfied with the service from start to finish. The website is very easy to use, with clear and fixed prices, and there is no need to pay in advance. You simply pay the driver after arriving at your destination, which I found very convenient. Their WhatsApp communication is also excellent — they respond extremely quickly. After making the booking, I recommend contacting them directly on WhatsApp, as it makes communication even faster and easier. Both drivers were punctual, professional, and friendly. The vehicles were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had good air conditioning. I would definitely recommend Movxtra, especially if you want a reliable airport transfer without having to pay upfront. The fixed price and payment upon arrival make the whole process simple and stress-free. Very good service and definitely a company I would use again!”

Leaving Manavgat — Questions We Are Asked

Tap a question to view details.

How long does the drive from Manavgat to Antalya Airport take?

Roughly 67 km, and 64 to 81 minutes on the road. An early departure sits at the quick end. Market-day traffic through the centre, a July afternoon or a slow approach at Aksu pushes it toward the upper figure, and that is the figure we work with when we plan your collection time.

What time will the driver collect me?

Tell us your flight time when you book and we plan the pickup around it. The collection time is confirmed with your booking. If the flight is rescheduled before your departure day, send us a message and we will reset it.

Where exactly will the driver be waiting?

At the entrance if your property has a forecourt. On the narrow one-way streets in the centre, at a corner or wider street that we name in your confirmation, usually a few steps from the door. The driver calls the number on the booking when he arrives.

Can you collect before dawn?

Yes. We run day and night, all year, and pre-dawn departures from Manavgat are ordinary work rather than a special arrangement. Book the pickup as you would any other and tell reception the evening before so the door is open.

How much luggage can I bring back?

Tell us the number of cases and any bulky items — pushchairs, golf bags, a case of ceramics from the market — when you book, and we allocate a vehicle that takes the passengers and the luggage together. There is no per-bag charge; the fare is for the vehicle.

Do you have child seats?

Yes, on request. Give us the child's age when you book so the right seat is in the vehicle when it arrives. There is no charge for fitting one.

How do I pay?

You pay the driver in cash at the end of the journey. No card is taken when you book and nothing is charged in advance. The price is fixed at the time of booking, so the amount you were quoted is the amount the driver takes.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the pickup time. Send us a message and we will confirm it — there is nothing to pay and no form to complete.
